FAQ
-
Do I need the parents guide?
The guide was created for parents who want a little extra help in explaining certain Biblical concepts or who want clear goals on the outcome for the session. The guide is a free resource available for download through the Purchase a Pathways book link.
-
What age range is Pathways for?
The Pathways Bible Study Guide was developed to be family-friendly and child inclusive. Although the book may be best suited for children 8-12, families with children younger than 8 or older than 12 are encouraged to still involve those children as well.
-
Do I have to go through the book in order?
The book is divided into 12 themes, which will generally overlap with the 12 months of the year. While you are not required to go in any particular order, there are some specific weeks that correlate with certain holidays. The list is included in the parents guide.
-
Can my children do this on their own?
Children are amazing, and we love promoting independence. However, this Bible Study Guide is meant to foster bonding and collective studying of the Word. Accordingly, we strongly recommend actively participating in the Bible Study session with your children.
-
I have multiple children. Do they need their own book?
We recommend each child have their own book. The books are in a workbook format for writing, coloring, and completion of other activities directly in the book. In addition, this would help each child track their growth, testimonies, and prayers over the year.
